The Chicom Chest Rig is a modern version of the classic equipment, offering a simple and versatile design suitable for various environments. Its origins can be traced back to the 1940s, but it truly gained popularity during the Vietnam War. It includes three pockets with hook & loop flap closures, which can be removed and replaced with pullers provided in the set. This basic version of the rig can be customized and expanded in various ways.

Both the interior and exterior of the Chicom Chest Rig are equipped with MOLLE/PALS panels, allowing you to attach additional pouches, cargo pockets, grenade holders, and more. If needed, the number of ammo slots can be increased from three to five. Furthermore, there is room to attach a first aid kit or a small pocket underneath the rig. Inside, there is a flat pocket designed for documents or inserts from the VIS system, lined with soft hook & loop material for extra protection.
